PSCI Webinar: The Waste Vendor Vetting Checklist
Join us on November 16th 16.00 - 17.00 CET
Waste vendors can cause businesses to incur additional risks and environmental and financial liabilities. Unsuitable waste handling practices might lead to undesired releases of waste to the environment. This can happen through missing or poorly maintained treatment units / steps, lack of maintenance, improper or non-functional monitoring, insufficient / improper waste treatment or inappropriate handling of resulting waste from a specific treatment.
Responsible waste management is among the most important aspects of minimizing the risks and liabilities associated with cleaning up contaminated sites.
The Waste Vendor Vetting Checklist was developed by the Pharmaceutical Environment Group (PEG) and its participating companies, who have kindly shared it with the PSCI for diffusion amongst its members. The Pharmaceutical Environment Group consists of leading pharmaceutical companies who collaborate in order to demonstrate and promote environmental leadership in the pharmaceutical industry, working together to enhance their performance.
