PSCI Webinar: Risk Assessment Tools – Discharge of APIs in Sludge & Wastewater

Webinar | 15 Sep 2021 09:00–10:30 Eastern Time (US & Canada)

This webinar will provide an introduction to a set of advanced exposure tools that can be used for conducting risk assessments for the discharge of APIs in sludge or wastewater.  The three exposure tools include:

  • A tool for evaluating bank infiltration of APIs in surface water
  • A tool for evaluating risks to soil and groundwater from the land application of sludge or biosolids
  • A tool for evaluating risks to soil and groundwater from the land application/irrigation of treated wastewater

The webinar will instruct the audience under which scenarios the tools should be used and by whom, followed by a detailed, step-by-step instruction of the three tools, including the types of information required from the user, default parameters built into the tools, and how to interpret the results.  There will be time reserved at the end of the webinar for questions from the audience.

We're delighted to be joined by:

  • Jeffrey T. Rominger, Senior Environmental Engineer at Gradient
  • Sam Maynard, Senior Environmental Risk Assessor at AstraZeneca and Co-Chair of the PSCI Pharmaceuticals in the Environment/Antimicrobial Resistance Topic Team

Please register by Sunday 12 September 2021.

The webinar will be recorded for anyone who cannot attend it live.

We look forward to seeing you there!
